2. Project status
TasteGeo is an independent Rust reimplementation of GeoServer's public service behavior and operational contracts. It is not an official product endorsed or distributed by GeoServer or OSGeo.

- Third-party terms and policies also apply when you use Google or another social sign-in provider.
- Unverified, suspended, or closed accounts may not access some features.
- If you suspect unauthorized use, change your credentials and notify the operations team promptly.
4. Community use
You remain responsible for your content and grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide license needed to host, display, and operate it within the service. You retain ownership of your content.
- Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, privacy-invasive, or infringing content.
- Do not distribute malware, spam, unauthorized advertising, disrupt the service, or bypass security controls.

5. Moderation
The Operator may hide or remove content, lock posts, or suspend or close accounts to address violations, security risks, legal demands, or service reliability. Relevant action records may be retained.
6. Software and downloads
TasteGeo software and source distributions are governed by the open-source license identified with each distribution. These service terms do not replace an applicable open-source license.
Qualification or preview builds may be unsuitable for production. Review checksums, signatures, SBOMs, release notes, and limitations, and validate each build in your own environment.
7. Changes and availability
We may change, limit, or discontinue features for improvement, security, or operational reasons. Material changes will be announced when reasonably possible. You are responsible for keeping backups of content you need.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
To the extent permitted by law, the service and preview builds are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or complete GeoServer compatibility.
Except for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liabilities that cannot be limited by law, liability for indirect, special, or consequential loss is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Closure, governing law, and contact
You may close your account from Account Settings. The Privacy Policy governs post-closure data handling.
